Not Much To Share

I have not not much to share at the moment.
Still quilting confetti quilt and up to the last border.
We are have our decking redone , so it looks like i will be out with the paint brush when it's not raining,so not much time in the sewing room for me.
I am going to Mt Duneed on Saturday to do a clothes sewing lesson
We are making pj's, so if they look any good i will post photos when i am finished.
Well back to the paint brush for me .

Dear Prudence

Wow is all i can say.
I have been waiting for the postie to arrive this morning , and look at what he had.
Dear Prudence book by Linda White of www.gumvalleypatchwork.typepad.com.
I have made myself a cuppa and sat down to read and what a great job Linda has done in the book.

I have my fabric,and i am going to use 3/8" hexagons.

This project may take me a few years to do, so if i have'nt posted on here for a few weeks you will know what i am doing, cutting and stitching hexagons.

Owlie Owl

I have just finished Owlie Owl quilt for my daughter.

One finished and off the pile and now i am quilting Confetti

It's a nice feeling when you have completed a quilt 

I am on a roll trying to get a few quilts finished, so i am hoping that it lasts before i start thinking of starting something new.

A Visit To Elm Grove Patchwork

Sorry for the delay, i was going to post a lot earlier than this but other things got in the way.
A few weeks back i took a drive to Nullawarre down the Great Ocean Road in Victoria to visit Elm Grove Patchwork.
Lenora has a beautiful shop so if your down that way, make sure you call in for a visit.
I did purchase a few things while i was there.

My only problem is i dont know what  to make first
This book is beautiful It has 16 projects in it.
I have looked  at this book every day since i have had it,still deciding what to make.

I hope everyone has had a happy and safe easter and eaten lots of chocolate.

Now that Easter is all over and done with the year will soon go and we will be thinking of Christmas again

Away And Back Again

Will we had a short holiday this year
Normal we would go on our annual holiday for two or three weeks , but this year we went to Adelaide for a week, was good but was'nt long enough , we may to make up for it next year.
I still have another week and a half of work , so i making the most of my time sewing, before i go back and before school holidays start.
I have been working on some quick easy projects that we got from Stitch in Spring last year.

First one is a pincushion from Gail Pan

Next one is  a sewing pocket from Gail Pan as well

It is nice to get a few small things done and start on something else.

Stay tuned for the next post as i have been to visit a new patchwork shop, and have brought some yummy things.

Freya's Dresses

I have Made Freya these two dresses , the pattern is by Olive Ann Designs .
There were very easy to make , Lets hope she wears them.

Once Upon A Time

Once Upon A Time quilt top is finished.

This quilt is from Kidz Quilts.

I am giving this one to my niece Freya for her 4th birthday,so i have plenty of time to get it quilted as her birthday is'nt till August.

This Quilt has worked out to be quite big, so i have left the 2" squares off around the border, now for it to go on the quilting pile so i can get some more things finished off.
